Jammu to Mumbai – Social Service Campaign – 28th April to 16th June 2019
Ludhiana (3rd May, 2019): A social service campaign is arranged by Brahma Kumaris Ishwariya Vishwa Vidalaya. BK Sister Saraswati, Centre In-Charge Brahma Kumaris Ishwariya Vishwa Vidalaya, Ludhiana welcomed the Social Service Campaign, today at Ludhiana. This campaign is on the topic “Happy Life & Healthy society”, has started from Jammu on 28th April and will reach Mumbai on 16th June. Campaign has reached Ludhiana today morning.
The objective of this campaign is to make people aware about secrets of Happy and Peaceful Life, encourage people for Purity and Cleanliness of Mind, and to empower them Spiritually and Morally to be free from social evils, blind faith and addictions.
Programs at fourteen different places were arranged by Brahma Kumaris, Ludhiana, which includes Punjabi Bhawan, Jeet Foundation, Women Jail, Boster Jail, Jain Sabha, Braille School, Nishkam School, Drug De-Addiction at Civil Hospital, A program at Darpan NGO, Ashirwad NGO, Abhikalpna NGO, Central Jail, A talk for Transgenders.
Motivational speaker BK Brother Amir Chand, BK Sister Meenakshi, BK Sister Shailja, BK Sister Reena, BK Sister Poonam and BK Brother Sahil, delivered the talk on the topics Positive Thinking, Happy Life and Healthy Society and Stress Free Life etc. Dr. Parvinder Pal Singh Sidhu (Civil Surgeon), Dr Geeta (SMO, Civil Hospital), Bhai Sucha Singh Ji (Head Granthi, Dukhbhanjan Gurudwara Sahib), Mr. Davinder Basant (Jail Superintendent), Mr. Shamsher Singh Boparai, Padam Shree Dr. Surjit Patar, Mr Karamveer Gulati – (one of head Trustee, Arya Samaj, Ludhiana), Mr. Harpreet Dang and well known social workers were present as special guest during the events.
In the evening, a motivational talk was delivered by BK Brother Amir Chand at Vishwa Shanti Sadan, Ludhiana. People from various sectors like Banks, NGOs, Industrialists, Blind Children, Senior Citizens, Mentally Challenged Children’ s parents and staff, Transgenders and founder of various organizations got benefited from the campaign and they appreciated the efforts of Brahma Kumaris to work whole heartedly for creating a new social order where happiness and peace prevails.
